Michael is a seasoned world traveler, born and bred in Sydney, Australia. After moving to San Francisco in 2011 he fell in love with its charming history and eclectic people.

Michael is a professional tour guide, founding Boutique Traveler tours to uniquely showcase this beautiful city through the eyes of both a tourist and a local. His vast experience comes from nearly 20 years of working in the travel industry and traveling the globe.

A strong passion for photography, history, food, and culture are evident in the tours that he leads and you are guaranteed to laugh at his quirky stories (if not his accent).

Erika Helstrom

Erika has over a decade of experience in travel, having led tours locally and abroad. Her first taste of guiding was while leading trips to Yosemite and the Wine Country of Northern California. She has also guided in Italy but her most memorable time was spent guiding tours through Tanzania.

She loves festivals and believes that travel can help you leave your comfort zone and expand your horizons.

Fun Fact:

“I learned Swahili while living in Boulder Colorado which came in handy during my time in Tanzania”

Keith Riley

Keith Riley

Keith is also a seasoned world traveler, born and bred in California. He started in the tourism industry in 2010, working as a guide for a large adventure travel company. During that time he also obtained his commercial driving license. Keith continues to work in tourism today, mostly in Northern California. He enjoys camping, hiking, biking, and exploring in his spare time.
