Stephen Cooper

Born and bred in Sydney, Stephen has decades of experience working as a photojournalist for some of Sydney’s leading daily newspapers. Stephen has traveled extensively for work and pleasure, shooting many of Australia’s top celebrities, sportspeople, and personalities though he still loves being a tourist in his home town.

Alongside his guiding for Boutique Traveler Stephen still works as a professional photographer and photography teacher and has a passion for underwater photography.

Fun fact:

“I can recite the great Australian poem ‘The Man from Snowy River’ by Banjo Paterson. Don’t test me on tour though as it’s 7 minutes long!”

Sarah Jasmine Labib

Sarah is a clinical pharmacist by trade but after a short overseas break turned into a UK visa and 3 years of tour-guiding in Europe, she has never looked back.

Since then Sarah has been a professional tour guide in 17 different countries and is yet to travel to a place that hasn’t won her over! With her passion for meeting new people and helping them to experience the joys of life-changing travel, she has found a vocation that is really rewarding.

Highlights of her time traveling the globe include 6 weeks spent camping through East Africa, being part of the world’s biggest food fight at La Tomatina in Buñol, Spain and experiencing the wonder of the Northern Lights in Iceland.

Fun fact:

“In 2018, I walked 920km across the country of Spain. After 36 days, a few pep talks from passing travelers, and countless memories – here’s what I learned: wear-in your shoes and pack blister pads!”
